Itinerant Minister Ralf Friedrichs

A woman was arrested for killing a New York City police officer in a drunken car crash yesterday.
She is facing a lot of charges that could cause her to serve years in prison.
As she was being led to a police car in handcuffs, she said that she was sorry.
But, the sad fact is, she made the decision to be sorry, too late to change the outcome.
This story made me think of the many that will one day stand before God and be sorry for their sins and sorry for not believing in His Son, Jesus Christ, and surrendering their lives to Him—but it will be too late.
That’s why it is so important for all of us that we make that decision to tell Him we are sorry for our sins here and now, on this earth. When death comes, it will be too late to repent—our eternal destination will be sealed. God’s Word tells us, “Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out,”
(Acts 3:19).
